The Arts Project Showcases Artists and Events Website - Site Design and Programming Donated by HONEY Design

The ARTS Project (TAP) is proud to officially unveil its new website. HONEY Design donated its time and expertise to create it.

Says Robin Honey, VP of The ARTS Project board and President of HONEY Design, “The ARTS Project has grown from a gallery space to a dynamic location for both theatre and the visual arts. There is so much going on now that the previous website did not really highlight each area of the facility. It was also important that revenue streams, like the event rental of the space, classes, membership fees and ticket sales, be more evident.”

The homepage allows for a clear navigation as well as a display of everything that is happening at a glance. Throughout the site, images of the exhibits, events, artists, volunteers, donors and more are featured adding to the visual appeal.

The other goal of the re-launch was to provide a user-friendly website with a compact content management system, easily managed by TAP staff and volunteers yet powerful enough for future needs. The HONEY web team programmed the backend in Wordpress, leveraging the gallery library, calendar, and social media plug-ins which were customized for TAP.
