Special Event Celebrates a $7.6M Historic Gift from Labatt

The Labatt Brewing Company’s collection of historic corporate materials, valued at more than $7.6 million, was donated to The University of Western Ontario, Archives and Research Collection Centre. A celebration to recognize this ‘historic gift’ was organized by HONEY Design and included a website, commemorative brochures and posters, a press kit, pull-up banners, event signage and the unique task of displaying more than 150 individual items at the Labatt Amber Lounge in a both historic context and a visually appealing way. Working with Museum London, previous recipients of artifacts, and the Western Archivists to create a museum-quality exhibit in a room normally used as a pub was a unique challenge.
